Skills and qualifications

The PHP Software Developer must be able to demonstrate experience of taking concepts and specifications then translating them into standards-friendly code, employing current web technologies.

This professional must have programming skills, proficiency and experience in the following technologies:

• PHP;
• WordPress;
• JavaScript, HTML/HTML5, CSS/CSS3;
• MySQL, PostgreSQL, and/or other relational/non-relational databases;

and is highly valued any skills in:

• JavaScript Frameworks (React.js, AngularJS, jQuery, …);
• Node.js and/or Ruby on Rails;
• Joomla, Drupal, or other open source CMS;
• Responsive design;
• UI Integration/Development.

Having a computing, math’s or management degree from a leading university, or equivalent experience, is considered a plus.

• Ability to contribute to the creation of an environment that motivates individuals to work collaboratively as a team;

• Learning capacity and the will to acquire new skills;
• Fluent in English (at business level).

Work Experience

Minimum 2+ years proven track record, designing, developing and maintaining web applications.
